Holiday Program

EPIK’s Holiday Program is offered during the NSW school term holidays.

Programs operate from two sites and are offered during the following holiday periods:

  • April Holiday 2 weeks
  • July Holiday 2 weeks
  • October Holiday 2 weeks
  • January holiday 3 weeks

Holiday programs are specifically designed for each holiday period taking into consideration anticipated weather, community and cultural events and age appropriateness of participants.

Community Access Program – this program operates from St Anthony’s Family Care Village and is a community-based program. Each day the program commences and ends on site, however most days include a community outing.

This program enables participants to make the most of the city in which we live and involves many fun activities such as bushwalking, beach visits, picnics in the park, museum tours and much more.

Centre Program – the program operates from No. 6 Cottage and is a centre-based program. Each day is based on a scheduled activity which may include baking, science projects, gardening, arts and craft and much more.

At EPIK, we understand that each family is different and that needs vary. As such, both programs have the option of a short or long day:

  • 9.00am to 3.00pm  or
  • 8.30am to 4.30pm

Staff ratios are determined based on the individual needs of the child.
